Pada 28 Mei 2011, seramai 14 orang pelajar telah menyertai Konsert KDCA-ISCEP yang bertempat di Hongkod Koisan, Penampang. Konsert ini bertujuan untuk mengutip dana bagi membiayai lawatan rombongan pelajar dari Sabah ke Korea.
Sebanyak 11 buah sekolah dari daerah Kota Kinabalu, Penampang, Papar, Tambunan, Keningau, Ranau dan Membakut telah menjayakan konsert ini yang bertemakan ‘Cultural Understanding ,The Way Forward’. SM La Salle telah membuat persembahan tarian etnik kreatif Murut yang bertajuk ‘Antanom: Warrior Of The Jungle’.
A well-scripted adaptation of a true story revolving around the pifalls of being engrossed with video games at the expense of studies helped the English drama team from SM La Salle clinch the national title at the Interschool Drama 2012 competition.
The team comprising 15 members was in high spirits after learning that they beat 14 other teams from throughout Malaysia to clinch the top spot. SMK Batu Lintang of Kuching emerged first runner up and SMK Taman Sea, Petaling Jaya won third placing.
Tourism Culture and Environment Minister, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun wants the Sabah Wildlife Department to enforce poaching law. The minister also stressed the Wildlife Department is not make life difficult for the native in the interior but he said, most of the poachers are not the natives. They are people who see it as profession, as an income and that is the issue at hand.
Minister said that his ministry had allocated RM50,000 to KK Wetlands and RM2,000 each to the 12 schools involved in the program.
