BACKGROUND

The PTA of SM La Salle, K.K. was formed in 1978 under the reigned of Mr. Stanley Liew, who was the principal of SM La Salle at that time. The Executive Committee consists of the school principal as the advisor, President, Vice President, Secretary, Vice Secretary, Treasurer, 7 committee members and 2 auditors. These positions are filled through votes during the Parent-Teacher AGM which is held once in two years.

The formation of the SM La Salle PTA is based on the agenda to help the school to provide better service to students in terms of welfare and development in both curricular and co-curricular activities. Besides that, the association is a main device to enable parents and teachers of this school to exchange opinions, information and to discuss the students’ performance in their studies.

In general, the purpose of this association is to make sure that the students are able to obtain maximum privileges from the school. The PTA of SM La Salle is also working hand in hand with the school management to ensure a conducive environment for the teaching and learning experience in this school.

ACTIVITIES

In order to support the school and the students to participate in the curricular and co-curricular activities at their best, the PTA of SM La Salle had organised events to raise funds. The activities were :
